My approach to naturopathic care is grounded in evidence-informed practice, thoughtful assessment, and clear communication. I focus on understanding patterns, context, and contributing factors, while taking into account individual preferences, restrictions, concerns, and real-life practicality.
Rather than following a standard protocol, recommendations are shaped collaboratively, with careful consideration of lifestyle, schedule, comfort level, and access to resources. The goal is to offer guidance that is not only scientifically sound, but realistic and sustainable.
Education is central to this approach. Whether discussing physiology, lab findings, or health strategies, the emphasis is on clarity so patients feel informed, supported, and confident in the choices being made.
Initial appointments are 60 minutes, allowing time to connect, understand your concerns, and explore your health history in detail. This extended visit creates space for meaningful discussion, education, and collaborative planning.
Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes and focus on reviewing progress, refining recommendations, and addressing new questions as they arise. Visit frequency is individualized and adjusted over time based on goals, feedback, and needs.
Laboratory testing may be suggested when appropriate to help clarify contributing factors and guide next steps. Collaboration with, or referral to, other healthcare providers may be recommended when beneficial.
Care commonly includes support for concerns related to digestion, metabolic health, fertility, sleep, fatigue, and women’s health across different life stages. When a concern falls outside the scope of naturopathic care, referrals are made to ensure appropriate and coordinated support.
